How It Works

Whilst the Brazilian Blow-dry targets dry, over processed and frizzy hair, any hair type can benefit from it. This revolutionary treatment is available in two strengths, thereby allowing your stylist to mix the perfect prescription for your individual needs.

The Brazilian Blow-dry is designed to repair your hair from the inside out thereby restoring the natural elasticity and the original condition. It is based on cocoa and protein containing a high level of anti-oxidant. The presence of obromine, an alkaloid that is closely related to caffeine, is mildly stimulating. This stage straightens the hair.

Keratin is difficult to dissolve because it is formed from keratinocyte (living cells). These cells slowly push their way upwards, eventually dying and forming a protective layer of cells.. Hair and nails, on humans especially, tend to become dry and brittle. The thicker the layer of keratin, the healthier the hair is.Keratin will restore the damaged hair and strengthen it.

Depending on the hair type, each treatment lasts between three to five months. The hair will be full of vitality and strength. Blowdrying has finally become a pleasure. Cutting your blowdrying time down by 70%. Welcome to healthier, shinier, silkier hair!

Step by step application guide

1) Consult with your client to ensure his / her record card is filled out correctly.

2) Determine if any other services need to be done prior to the treatment (ie colour etc).

3) Shampoo - 2 x deep cleansing shampoo to emove styling product build up and to open the cuticles.

4) Drying - Towel dry hair to 80%.

5) Application - Wear gloves, part the hair into 3-4 sections and start at the nape.

6) Apply approximately 1cm away from the scalp throughout the mid lengths and ends.Leave on for approximately 30 mins.

7) Turn on extractor fan to ensure good ventilation.

8) Blow dryhair completely on a medium heat.

9) Flat iron hair, going over each section 8 times. Minimum temperature 230C.Hair will not burn as there is a built in thermal protector in the Keratin, provided enough product is applied to the hair.

This product is rich in liquid keratin, protein, and other natural substances such as cocoa, mineral oils, and rich substances eg. silicone of low molecular weight, collagen and silk proteins.

This new technology can treat or restore any damaged hair, smoothing and hydrating it while leaving it silky and shiny.

During the first 3 days

Do’s
•Wear hair down at all times.
•Blowdry and flat iron hair as soon as possible if it gets wet during the first three days after treatment.
•Pull hair back and use a shower cap when taking a shower.

Don’ts
•Do not shampoo or wet the hair for 3 days. If hair gets wet, blowdry immediately and / or flat iron.

•Do not tie hair into a pony tail or braid etc.

•Do not use hair clips.

•Do not use hair braids.

•Do not sweat excessively. Avoid working out or swimming for the first 3 days after treatment.

•Do not put hair behind ears or use sunglasses to hold hair back.

•Do not colour hair for at least 10 days after treatment.

What you will need
